Inside Course

  • Average Page Size: 85K (45K Graphic, 55K Audio, 3K Text)
  • Average Audio (ASF) Length: 20-30 seconds
  • Average Video (ASF) Length: 20-30 seconds
  • Average Audio Bandwidth Usage: 28-30K/sec (if user waits for Audio to play full length), 9K/sec (if user turns off Audio)
  • Average Video Bandwidth Usage: Two bit rates are available—100K/sec and 300K/sec

Outside Course

  • Average Page Size: 25K (15K Global Graphics, 10K Text)
  • Average Video Bandwidth Usage: 4K/sec
  • No Audio

Images are JPGs and GIFs, and ASF/MP3; ASF/WMV/FLV is used for audio and video streaming respectively. Some courses contain Flash® animations. ClarityNet® 4.8 is delivered using Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) written in Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio .NET.
